I don’t think I need to explain AI at this stage, there is almost nobody on earth who isn’t familiar with artificial intelligence today. When you see machines and algorithms learning through exposure and experience, getting smarter with every passing second. You see possibilities, evolution, prosperity. AI is something that holds the potential to re-shape the world. It is going to change everything, it still is. AI is creating a new world and it’s going to be totally different from the one we live in. AI is going to add a whole new era in the history of mankind, THE ERA OF AI. I am not exaggerating when I say that, the pace at which we are advancing in artificial intelligence is unimaginable. Even google is getting smarter with every passing day, google’s algorithms are learning and getting smarter with every search you make. Let’s see what’s this era of AI holding in for us.

AI’S IMPACT IS EVERYWHERE
Even now AI is impacting every aspect of our lives, the social media platforms, the searchengines we use, everything is using intelligent algorithms to provide us their services. There is no major industry, modern AI hasn’t already affected. Some sectors are just beginning their AI journey, while others have covered a long path by now. Both have a long way ahead.
Major industries AI has affected:
- TRANSPORTATION
We are making automatic cars today, trains and airplanes come with an autopilot mode, thanks to AI. Although there is still room for perfection and it may take some time, the day is not far when autonomous cars will carry us from place to place.
- MANUFACTURING
AI powered robots are working with humans in the manufacturing industry, performing simple tasks such as stacking and assembling things. Soon their role is going to increase far beyond these simple tasks.
- MEDICAL
AI systems with diagnosis and prescription algorithms will soon replace the professionals. Sensors will detect the symptoms of an anomaly, the algorithms will search for the problem related to the symptoms and the cure / related medicine in their database and it will just pop on the screen.
- EDUCATION
Virtual assistants are helping human instructors, facial analysis gauges help to determine the mood or emotional state of students, this helps to better understand the individual needs of students and to assist them.
- AGRICULTURE
AI operated sensors are being put on plants and crops to monitor water requirements. These sensors help to prevent water loss by indicating when a plant is adequately hydrated. AI is also helping to create seasonal forecasting models to improve agricultural accuracy.
This is just a glimpse of what AI is capable of and what’s it providing right now. Just think of what’s in store for the future.
